Daniel's 3rd-Year Presentation

Daniel worked long hours and late into the night all week for his hour long presentation on Pain Management. Levi and I came to cheer him on. If you ask Daniel, he'll say he's amazed at how much he doesn't know, but every time I hear him talk the Doctor dialect I can't believe he knows all that stuff. His talk was very well received by his colleagues. Go Daniel!

Levi's Fashion Expressions

Everyone's impressed that Levi's crawling and cruising already. That's our man-cub! At his last check up he weighed 17 pounds and is now in the 50th percentile for height and weight. He was in the 70th when he was born, so maybe he's just trying to fit in better in our family of liliputians. The pediatrician proclaimed him active and healthy with short, fat feet. Sorry, Levi, that would be my fault. But we did do a good job of making you cutalicious!

Naomi's First Lost Tooth!

Naomi said, "What's this yucky thing in my candy?" as she threw it in the trash all covered in chocolate. Later she ran around the house chanting happily that she had lost her tooth. She didn't know were it was, but we all figured it out eventually. The tooth fairy was a little slow what with no actual tooth under the pillow to trade, but when Elora lost a tooth several days later, she left them each a dollar.

Now she has a cute little lisp.

After I drop the big girls off at school each day Viv and Levi and me go home and snuggle on the floor for a while. This morning while we were playing Viv said "I love being in this family". It was a great Valentine's gift for me.

Here's Elora receiving her A-Honor roll certificate. She must have had one awesome first grade teacher! She was a little disappointed because she would have preferred the blue certificate her friend got for the A-B Honor roll. I'm glad she's more color conscious than competitive.

This is Elora having a teenage moment. She's got painted nails, her stylin' room, and she's talking on the cell phone with a blue tooth ear piece to her cousin Josie. Last but not least, she's got a scowl on her face because her mom popped in uninvited. With a camera.

Elora joined the American Girl book club and just finished her first book much sooner than I expected. I am so pleased with her reading ability. Go Ellie!
